John LiMark Allen Realty ERA Powered

John Li is a real estate broker with Mark Allen Realty ERA Powered, focused on Chicago's high-rise condominiums.

John also works in construction, with experience in construction materials troubleshooting, hotel renovation project management and commercial construction. It shows in how he looks at a condo: past the unit to the building around it — its age, its reserve fund, the repairs ahead, and what they mean for dues and special assessments. He holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

It is also why he built this site. Two towers on the same block can differ by hundreds of dollars a square foot in price and dues, so John measures each building on its own MLS records and shows the sample behind every number. Clients see the same data before they buy, sell or lease, then talk through what it means for their plans.

John works with buyers, sellers, owners and renters, in English and Chinese. On his YouTube channel, JL Home Finder, he shares videos on Chicago real estate.
